Andrew Chang is the founder and CEO of Nunchi Health, a nonprofit (founded in 2022) advancing mental-health equity for immigrant and minority youth through a youth-led, community model. With a team of 150+ volunteers and staff, Nunchi trains young people in basic psychotherapy and peer-support skills so they can teach others and expand access. Andrew also serves as a community physician in San Mateo County, caring for underinsured patients, and launched Nunchi following a fellowship with Harvard Medical School. To date, the organization has reached 1,000+ students across 30+ countries and trained numerous community leaders.
